FREE Practical Training for Careers Leaders

The Careers and Enterprise are providing FREE training for all Careers Leaders. It is a progressive programme starting this September 2021 through until December 2021. Please be quick to book these extremely popular courses!

BM1 for Careers Leaders
These sessions are updated versions of content delivered across 2020/21 academic year. Content has been updated to reflect changes to our online learning modules, statutory guidance, the new CDI Framework and updated resources linked to impact evaluation. The programme is presented in three modules.

Promoting Apprenticeships and Technical Education Pathways IfATE
With the numerous and ongoing changes taking place within Apprenticeships and Technical Education, join this session to hear directly from the Institute of
Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) as they provide more information on: The role of IfATE within apprenticeships and technical education, the latest range of technical pathways available to young people (including T Levels and Higher Tech Qualifications) and Learner journeys – hear directly from young people experiencing these various pathways
There will also be time available in the session for Q&A.

NEW DATE Getting Ready for Ofsted
Reprising the workshop that shares The Careers & Enterprise Company guidance on the new framework, what a ‘deep dive’ into careers at an Ofsted inspection might look like and how this insight can be used to support Careers Leaders to prepare for inspections and use the new framework to influence SLT engagement. This event is open to both Enterprise Coordinators/Hub Leads and Careers Leaders.

Early booking is recommended as this highly evaluated session has limited capacity. Please cancel your place if you find you can no longer attend having registered, as a waiting list is likely.

This webinar has been designed as part of a series to support the relationship between SENCO and Career Leaders in all education settings. Using Compass+ and Unifrog effectively

The webinar is designed for Careers Leaders and members of their team in schools who use Unifrog and Compass+ to record activities in their career programmes.
Attendees will understand the benefits of using Compass+ and Unifrog and learn how to download interactions/ activity files on Unifrog and upload them to Compass+.
Examples of best use and practice will be shared.
