Teachers: What’s the catch

Date of Event: 27 Aug
Aims: EarthEcho Expeditions is an annual program that leverages the rich Cousteau legacy of exploration and discovery to bring STEM education content alive for today’s 21st-century learners and their educators

Interested teachers can find more information on how to apply at http://earthecho.org/expeditions. The deadline for interested applicants is Friday, May 31st, 2019 and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the deadline

Each EarthEcho Expedition begins with a week-long exploration of a geographic area facing an environmental crisis, examining the impacts that humans have on communities and water resources across the globe. In conjunction with local research and advocacy partners as well as the Expedition Fellows, we film and produce an education module for each Expedition.

Each module combines:

  • Vibrant exploration videos
  • Environmental audits
  • Examples of environmental actions championed by youth
  • Profiles of STEM professionals

A series of live virtual events are also hosted throughout the school year to engage students with voices that inspire action around environmental challenges from Expedition. Stay up to date on the latest live events and application deadlines by subscribing to our newsletter.
