The WoW Show is an innovative live streamed careers broadcast that aims to:

  • Inspire students to consider a careers in a particular sector
  • Be a fun fast paced and young people friendly source of LMI (benchmark 2)
  • Includes pre and post event classroom materials (benchmark 4)
  • An opportunity to engage with employers through the use of a live Q and A plus support through local ambassadors (Benchmark 5)

The NHS needs more than doctors and nurses – and this programme will be looking at the work of Allied Health Professionals, one of the largest professional groups in the health service.

Allied Health Professions are: podiatrists, dietitians, occupational therapists, operating department practitioners, orthoptists, osteopaths, prosthetists and orthotists, paramedics, art therapists, dramatherapists, music therapists physiotherapists, diagnostic radiographers, therapeutic radiographers, speech and language therapists.

Making a Difference will be streamed live on The WOW Show’s YouTube channel on Wednesday, June 26 @ 10.00; and will be available to view on demand any time afterwards.
