Date: 31 Aug

How can government initiatives support the short and long-term development of your workforce?

How can government initiatives support the short and long-term development of your workforce?

Over the last year, the government has launched a host of skills and jobs initiatives to give people a route into work and provide a pool of talent for employers to draw on.

But how can these initiatives contribute to your immediate workforce needs as you emerge from the pandemic, and how can they support your longer-term workforce planning?

SDN is hosting a final webinar session, as part of a 4-part series looking at ‘How government initiatives can support the short and long-term development of your workforce’.

The final session – to be hosted on Weds 8 September (12-1pm) – is focused on ‘Bringing in young talent – supporting young people in the workplace’.

The session will help you explore:

  • how young people might form part of your talent pipeline and/or your CSR agenda
  • the practicalities of hosting young people in the workplace
  • the role of line managers / mentors in supporting young people to succeed

The series is open to all and free to attend.
